Wade King was a delightful, 10-year old boy –who tragically lost his life in the horrific natural gas pipeline explosion that rocked the entire city of Bellingham in June 1999. Upon his death, his family established this scholarship intending to honor students who exemplified the same zest for life, athletic and academic excellence, and leadership qualities that Wade exhibited.
