This scholarship was created by generous donations from his family, friends and business associates throughout the world. Their hope that his life will inspire students to become business entrepreneurs particularly in the fields of math, science & technology.

Brett Allsop Attended Sehome HS, won State Cross Country Title in 1987, attended Stanford, majored in industrial engineering & technology. He founded the internet company FogDog Sports and when it went public, he became chairman, moved family to London to start FogDog in Europe.  As his family grew, Brett decided that he wanted to raise his children in his beloved hometown, Bellingham.  He returned to work in the Allsop family businesses.  President of Tech Arm of Allsop, he & his brother Ryan founded an internet travel site – YAPTA (Your Amazing Personal Travel Assistant)  Brett was tragically killed in a car accident in August of 2009.
